Hi
I have to get a rpm display from a prox which is sensing rpm, onto a chart recorder which doesnt have a counter function. Anyone recommed a decent bit of kit, non plc?

max speed is about 20Hz and prox is 24V DC, looking for 0-10V conversion

cheers

Red Lion is one of the first ones I think of for those kinds of applications. I am sure there will be other options suggested by other members.

We use a brodersen F-V coverter from RS Part no 338-4200 £84.00. Find them very reliable and easy to set up. They are normally 4-20ma but i think they do a voltage one as well but if not, a resistor will do the trick!

Hope this helps

Paul
