insert a timer

I have the GX developer V8.0 software and I can't for the life of me figure out how to insert a timer i've tried F7 as stated on the online manual but it isn't allowing it to add to the ladder. any ideas?

Your keys may be set to Medoc format. If this is the case then Numerical key 7 will call the output. If you wish to change the format then click tools on the top bar then customise keys and then choose fron the 3 options GPPA, GPPQ, or Medoc format. alternatively you can have all of the instructions on an icon list in your top menu. View, Toolbar then add or remove elements of the tool bar to suit your needs. Hope this fixes it for you. Regards Badger.

In GX developer a Timer is programmed as an OUT
Push F7, type the timer number then the value (length)

so T20 k30 for example
