First i would like to say its my first time using a siemens HMI of any type so my questions might seem a little simple to some,
i have two machines of the same type (machine one has an s7-300 communicating to a mp277 touch using Ethernet, machine two also has a s7-300 communicating to a tp270 using MPI)
both these machines are the same physically, i would like to link these machines together and share recipes from a common place, be it wither one of the HMI's or a server of some type. (the future for the company it to have all our machines on some type of SCADA, so maybe it might help to start this project)
At the moment i cant even download either of the programs as i haven't got the correct file types (.hmi .mcp .pdb or .zip.v) so back-ups just create backup files, but i will get the OEM to send me this.
Any advice would be most welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read.
