Newbie Question

I have an RSLogix Program For Micrologix 1400
I can print the program and see a listing of all the data registers used but I want to be able to export the registers in electronic format so I can load them into a spreadsheet so I can compare multiple programs to each other.

Is this possible

Tools-> Database-> ASCII export-> CSV tab-> check types of export. Open .csv file with Excel. Is this what you are looking for?

Paul,

if you are wanting to compare plc programs, why not use the program compare utility in rslogix?
it allows you to comapre the entire program or just rungs that are different.
