I was wondering if it was possible to take allen bradley micrologix plc's and interface it to ge cimplicity hmi's. If it is possible what do I need to buy. I haven't had any luck finding anything.

As far as I understand it (I'm not a user), CIMPLICITY (like most other PC-based HMI programs) can be an OPC Client, so you need an OPC Server that can talk to A-B MicroLogix 1000's.

RSLinx Classic is the obvious candidate, if you have the licensed version.

There are quite a few other OPC Servers that can connect to MicroLogix 1000. The best are Kepware, Matrikon, and Software Toolbox.
