Morning all,

We have a niggly sync issue in a S7-300 that would benefit from trending a couple of memory bits and outputs in a RS5000 Trend style.

Is there such a tool on S7? I've done a search on the forum but couldn't really see anything of value just stuff for trending on HMI's.

Cheers

As far as I know the 300's don't offer a trending option. Only the HMI software. If you do have WinCC flexible installed you could write a simple trend program then use the "Runtime" to monitor it.

Thanks

I do have WinCC Flex any ideas off the top of anyones head how quick you can the set the update times for monitoring doing it in this way? I haven't used trending on HMI for years but it wasn't that great when I did.

The fastest flexible will log/trend values is 1 second. To go faster you have to log it in the plc and do buffer bit trends to get it up to flexible.
