PanelView 300 Micro Communications

I'm trying to connect a panelview 300 micro (2711-M3A18L1) to my PC right now. I'm using a 1747-UIC driver to switch it from rs232 to dh485. I have the settings matched based on the driver settings on what the computer says but I still can not establish a connection through rsLinx. I think my problem is that I have firmware for DF1 and not DH485, if someone could confirm that. If this is the problem where can I get the firmware to change it to dh485 or can you do that?

Contact your local AB rep.

You can connect to this PV with a USB to serial adapter and a null-modem cable no need to change it's firmware.

Got it to work with the usb to serial adapter, thanks for the help.

Does anyone know how to remove the back of a panelview 300 micro 2711-m3a18l1 easily in order to replace the keypad. Every time i try to remove it the plastic cracks. Are there any tools or techniques that make it easier?
