Is this happening when you are creating a runtime application? If so. Close Studio and restart your computer. Seems to work for me.

I tried to restart but it does not work. I also uninstalled FactoryTalk View

the file error is
"Could not create FactoryTalk Directory for CPR version 7.0 for this application.
"

That error is different than the one I encountered so the restart probable was no help. I'm afraid I don't know how to fix that one.

CPR 7 is kind of old. There is a technote that says this error could be caused by pasting in a .bmp with either too long of a name or underscores in the name.

is the whole package with rslinx enterprise, practically never worked.
