Online to 90-70 via CMM742

I have a CPX935. When I try to upload the program LM9070 tries and the port lights flash but the operation never succeeds. LM9070 reports 'communication failed'. How can I access the CPX935 via CMM742 over Ethernet using LM9070 for DOS ?

Use a computer with a "Real" serial port, or try a different USB to Serial adapter.
And verify that ALL serial parameters are identical at both ends.
