Could someone tell me

what is the difference between these two controllers:

Cat _____________ser_ proc rev____ OS#_________ ser__ FRN
SLC 500 1747-L532 D_______4________1747-OS302 __A___ 9
SLC 500 1747-L532 D______ 4_______ 1747-OS302 __B___ 14

if the "lesser" one can be upgraded to be the equivelent of the "better" one and

would it matter enough to do that, or buy one that is the same ... or doesn't it matter?

thank you
