I am looking to data log a single value every day based on the lowest level of a vacuum sensor so that we can monitor the performance of the pump. Is there a way to trigger that one event without using a change of value and logging every time the value changes?

Let's say you start your working at 6:00 am, the at 5:59:59 am you copy your lowest value to a secure place and start your comparisons (lowest value capture) from zero. You can use a queue if you want to keep your data for several days.
