Hello all. I would like to know if anyone knows of a serial analyzer that would be for a low budget type person, with very little experience? I am trying to integrate a Yokogawa temp controller with a RedLion HMI and am having no luck. It was recommended to me that I purchase a serial analyzer. I read some older threads here but all I see are upwards of $800, wayyyy out of my range.
Thank you.

Check out B&B Electronics. They have a Data Tap which allows you to TEE off the main serial line and tie in a terminal program like Hyper Terminal that comes with Windows.
