Please some body give me the connection diagram of 5wire rotary encoder to omron any PLC input

Can you provide the provide the exact equipment that you are trying to connect?
I sounds like an incremental encoder. A, B, Z, phases.

The above link will show wiring of NPN and PNP sensors. Please refer to the wiring diagram of the encoder you are using.

Remember to check the common of the PLC inputs to prevent a short across the power supply.

be sure the encoder is 24 Volt outputs.

Hi

I have found an RS 341-597 encoder but i can't find any wiring diagrams for it. I have looked online but the cable identifications seem to be different to the norm:

A - Green
B - Yellow
N - Pink
+Vs Brown
0v - White
Housing - Grey
shield

Can anyone help me with the connections to A ControlLogix PLC

Wiring would be to a module, not a PLC - what module do you have?
