Problem - I will be using a CompactLogix 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B to run a skid and a Panelview Plus 7 Standard as the HMI. The customer would like the skid to print a report for every batch the skid completes. I have made arrays in the PLC to hold all of the data for the reports, and also a screen to show/print the reports. I just get tired of having to always make landscape orientation reports.
Is there a way to install spreadsheet or other report-making software on Windows CE itself and then just use the open program ActiveX control to print from there? I have very little knowledge of Windows CE itself, aside from network setups and the like. Perhaps a portable program on a flash drive?
