Hi to all. We have two SLC 5/03 processors that have a flashing fault light. We have tried them on two different racks. Tried to go on line with both of them to see if we can load a program. Engineer said the processor we got from his office was good. Tried to communicate with processor with no luck. Would appreciate any pointers to get us in the right direction. Thank you for your help in advance.

Tell us how you are connecting to the PLC, hardware, serial port, ethernet port, RSLink drivers etc. ?

Do you have a copy of the program (offline file) to check its port settings. Post it if you can (zip it first)

When all else fails you could try clearing the memory, this will set all to its default setting. See pdf below. Then try the serial port DF1 driver , null modem cable.

Thank you for your help. We had the wrong IP address. Looked at the saved program and noticed it was wrong address. Have a great day, and again, thank you for the help.
