I use S7-317 CPU in new project to control production line.

I use two old DC motor old configuration they were controlled using unitelway protocol.

NOW I will use modbus-rtu...... for limited budget I can not use CP341/340
I will use HILSCHER gateway nt 100-dp-rs.

I want to change parameters of ramp up/down "as attached it W22,23" and some other digital bits

Actually Iam very new with modbus communication. and also in using this gateway.

can any one help in how can I transfer date to W22,23 using this gateway from his experience or by example

The gateway manual will show you where to put the address for the modbus rtu locations.

What you are looking for is the modbus addresses of the drive.

Here is the option board for the drive modbus information.

Here is some additional information on Modbus RTU:

Hope this helps you out.
