Factory Talk View Studio ME exporting tags Problem

Hi fella's,

I had a search for an answer to this prior to posting.

I am using Factory Talk View Studio, machine edition V5.00.00 and when I Tools>Tag import and export wizard I come to a selection box which reads :Export RSview database to CSV files.

I am not using RSview tho? The pop up box only has .RSV files that it can select. I am pretty sure I need the .MED files, but cant select it.

Anyone got a workaround for this one? I dont have the same issue in Site edition, and the CSV exporting/importing works great.

Ah forget about it.

Not sure why this is so, but opening the progam another way does the trick.

start>programs>rockwell software>factory talk view>tools>tag import and export wizard

I've seen that before; I think it only happens if you have RSView32 and FTView Studio on the same PC.

I got in the habit of launching the tool manually.
