Twido connection RS232

Hi,

I have a TWIDO TWDLCAA16DRF PLC that blinks its RUN led but doesn't startup. I have TwidoSuite 2.2 installed and I received a cable from a collegue with a TSXCUSB232 converter. For connection between USB/PC and the TWIDO, schneider advices to use a TSXCUSB485D converter.

However I have found that the TSXCUSB232 should work as well.


A Twido has both electrical interfaces, RS485 and RS232.

So the RS232 converter should work.

Weird part about the cable I got is that is does not fit the PLC connection:

It has some kind of black pin...

It should be a cable like this:

I could build an own cable... or should I be better of by buying the cables
TSXCUSB485D+TSXCRJMD25 ...


What do you guys think ?

Anyone had troubles with this communication as well ?

Yeah exactly,

I bought TSXCUSB485 & TSXCRJMD25 at RS and this cable is a succes
