1761-net-eni to ml 1500

The plc is connected to the eni with a 1761-cbl-pm02 cable. The eni is then connecten to the network with a cat 6 ethernet cable. My laptop is connected to the network via cat6 ethernet cable.

ok, only reason i asked is because you would need a crossed ethernet cable to plug from your laptop into the eni or use a switch that converts one to the other.

yes the network switch/router will be doing the crossing/switching for you but one to remember if your not familiar with the eni then it can bite you in the *** lol.

on the eni what lights are present/absent

The TX/RX green led is flashing, the power light is on. Both the lights next to the Ethernet cable are solid green. Their are no fault lights.

Hello,
I must apologize; I failed to mention that I had a 1747-dps2 (port splitter) also tied into the 1761-net-eni.
The dps2 has the ml1500 and maples blue series HMI tied into it. Where I went wrong was I did not have the comport set up for DF1 full-duplex. Thank you for your time and sorry for the trouble.
