New-be to working with PLC panels and schematics, but worked with CAD for 30 years in mechanical field and i have done some schematics and very few PLC panel layout and schematic drawings.
but now it is my first time laying out PLC panel enclosure and wiring schematics.
I have laid out the PLC panel and 3 consoles drawing and starting the schematics and I/O cards.
We are using:
1769-L35ERM PROCESSOR
2- 1769-PA4 power supply
1769-HSC
1769-ASCII
1769-IF4XOF2F
8-1769-IA16
6-1769-OW16.
I have not samples to go by and need to layout the I/O cards.
The 1769-ASCII card use for scan-meg. it is part of the schematic?

I am using AutoCAD Electrical 2014 and doing the I/O wire diagram layout drawing.
AutoCAD has every I/O block "Symbol", but the ASCII CARD. I guess I could just go to Allen & Bradley web site and get info and draw one up. I was hoping same one has drawing one up.
