3-Phase Motor Connectors/Receptacles?

Hi all,

My current personal project is to build out a portable test rig in a Pelican case. It'll contain a PLC, some I/O, comms/gateways, and a pair of 120VAC PowerFlex 525 VFDs (0.5 HP). One major goal is to reduce as much as possible case penetrations (input power and some field outputs are exceptions).

I've even found adhesive mounting nuts to secure the sub-panel without drilling:

Some lightweight, rugged power input cabling has been located at Neutrik:

The Neutriks are my favorite so far since they support gaskets/covers and are recessed. I've search around without luck at other places (including Meltric) for similar connectors/receptacles that would support 3-phase motor hookups.

Im not sure what IP rating you're looking for but here is a 4 pin flush receptacle for your motor. Is your goal to remain water tight or to keep any receptacles as flush with the box as possible? It seems to me you are going to have to pick one of those constraints to narrow down your search.

Maybe not what you are looking for but I have found these useful for small test boards, saves having to wire in a plug and socket each time.
