Hello guys,

I should communicate an L33ERM with firmware 30 with L35E with firmware 19. The idea is not to modify the firmware, because in L35E everything is inside (ASi, devicenet, acc ..) and I would like to avoid various problems, since the intervention must be fairly rapid.

Clearly with upgrade I could use the "product and consumed tags", but if I didn't want to opt for this path, how could I do it?
Excluding wired logic.

Is it possible to use the "msg" instruction? How?

Thanks in advance

Hi, I know that some of the Rockwell processors don't have Produce/Consume capabilities, but I'm not sure which ones. Read the instruction help for details on how to use MSG instructions. Attached please find procedure for easy configuration of messaging between 2 devices. This was originally posted by JesperMP, a moderator on this forum, and I found them so helpful I copied and printed them. Hope this helps.
