Anybody know how many PV's a SLC 5/04 can support?

I was curious as to how and how many panelviews i could connect to one SLC. I have a 1747-L542 B processor. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

DH+ can support upto 64 nodes on the network. It's hard to estimate numbers like this, are you trying for an extreme number of devices?
More info about your network would be good too.

Thanks for the reply. No, not trying for anything extreme. I am just new to AB, and I have the aforementioned SLC and a panelview 900, and i wanted to have another panelview at another location and I wasn't sure if it was possible or how to go about it. The SLC and the PV 900 are just going to be hardwire connected via data highway cable and i didn't know (if it was possible to have more than one) if i could just double land the wires at the SLC or how to go about it.

Most DH+ installations are very straightforward: two wires and a shield, in parallel, daisy-chain fashion.

One termination resistor between the blue and clear conductors at each physical end of the network. 150 ohm for 57.6 kb/s or 115.2 kb/s, or 82 ohm for 230.4 kb/s. Two termination resistors total, no more, no less.

Two PanelViews and one SLC-5/04 will be no problem.
