Hi,

We are trying to communicate GE CPE305 PLC (over modbus TCP) with the Siemens drive (Profibus) using Anybus AB7629 module which is Profibus master to Modbus TCP slave gateway. We have 11 words to be sent and read in PLC and configured the gateway for same(22 bytes) with correct IP but unable to establish successful communication between PLC and drive .

Can anyone guide us if we are missing to check anything?

Thanks,
smartatuls

In Proficy Machine Edition hardware configuration for the CPE305 (the configuration for the module itself, not the Ethernet port), under the "Settings" tab check the "Modbus Address Space Mapping Type" item. Make sure it is not "Disabled", which is the default setting.
