The Automationdirect AC input card, PN T1K-16NA-1.
The field wiring on it.
The drawing is a bit unclear to me, but I THINK I understand it.

Pg 34

It show an AC source (obviously) & a COM in one direction, & then the Input in the other direction.

Line 2 (Neutral) goes to the common, then the L1 line to the switching device, then to the Input?

Been a long day & I'm looking to not let the magic smoke out..............
