Does anyone have the BN 3300 modbus map? I want to connect the 3300 to a PLC5 using 1785KE card and RS232 cable but need the map and BTR/W setup.

I don't beleive the 1785-KE module supports modbus protocol.

You may have to go with a "ProSoft" module. Or???

The 3300 literature I have specifically mentions serial communication to an AB using the 1785KE but does not elaborate.

Does your 3300 support DF1 protocol? If so then I believe your KE would work.

Well until someone corrects me I stand by my no modbus with your KE.

Yes, I saw that. But it doesn't provide a modbus map or DF1 addressing. I can't find one online and it's legacy. The 5 will have to poll it somehow. Suggestions? It's on a running compressor so I am limited in development flexibility. I'll have to shut it down to plug in the 1785, but I will be time constrained.

Have you tried calling GE? I have done modbus to an Intellution SCADA system. That was 20 years ago. Don't have the books anymore.
