I’m currently looking for cost effective I/O modules that will work good with Allen Bradley Contrologix Devicenet processors and Rslogix5000. I found BradControl I/O modules Made by Woodhead. My question is anyone used these modules or a comparable module to be controlled exclusively with Allen Bradley Contrologix processors. If so how was your success and would you recommend it. Thanks

Powernxs,

Before you choose the Brad-Harrison products, you should look at what TURCK offers for DeviceNet mount-on-the-machine I/O. I recomend the XSG type stations because they are ultimate flexiable in terms of Inputs & Outputs. Each point can be an Input or an Output, it simply depends on how you use the point back at the PLC. Rotory dials for addressing easily viewed on the front through the window, Autobaud rate detection, totally potted enclosures, and metal threads for all of the I/O connections are some of the benefits of these DeviceNet nodes. Here is a link to two versions of that station.

Here are a few jobs where we have used these stations for their DeviceNet I/O.
