Hi,

I need to send some data directly from an S7-300 series PLC to another computer having excel. I will be communicating via ethernet. What programs are available to easily send data directly from the PLC to Excel? I have heard of S7 Ethernet communication server. Is this something that could be used?

Thanks for the help.

You might want to consider KepserverEX which includes DDE for connection to programs such as Excel:

and offers connectivity through a Siemens server suite that includes Ethernet.

You can download KepserverEX from our web site through the following link to try:

Hope this helps.
