An Ethernet switch does not have an address and will NEVER show up in RSLinx.

What is the IP scrolling across the EN2T ?

Do you know what a Crossover Ethernet cable is? Do you have one?

Try pinging 192.168.1.10



"Start" -> "cmd" in Windows search box ->

I conneated to a 5/05 with ethernet cable. When I do the saMe Rs linx Ab Ethip shows an active 1769_c32 ethernet port which is ethernet switch ,panel view but an x for control logix 1756_EN2T/A.

You might want to delete the Harmony Files prior to any other RSWho browse attempts.

Upon completion, just grab any office pre-made patch cord, patch it in the switch and laptop, add another EtherNet/IP driver and browse with the newly added driver.
