Digital Open Circuit

In the current version (F, April 2012) manual at the link above, open wire detection is on page 73.
 
I thought controllogix has a wire break detection wiring arm
Anyone know anything about that.

Only the "Diagnostic" modules have wire-break detection.

Suffix "D" is on the part number, e.g. 1756-IB16D, and the word DIAGNOSTIC is on the front on the module, just below the display window.

If it's a standard module, e.g. 1756-IB16, it does not have wire-break detection.
