Exporting Analogue values fron logix500 to Excel

Can anybody help me i am trying to export live Analogue values from a LOGIX500 program to a Excel Spreadsheet and need a idiots guide on how to do it If one of you can help then please get in touch

The example is for string data, but it will work for any data type.

You will need a dde/opc server in order to make the connection to the plc. RSLinx "lite" will not cut it if that's what you have.
