Factory Talk Studio ME 9 // Windows 10

I am a massive fan of VM's but thought I would stick the above and Studio 5000 v30 on an old Host SSD to suck it and see.

One floor I have found is the tag browser in FTME, sometimes and not every time, the tag browser will hang.

You can see all the tags but 50% of the time it will come to life after about 5 seconds, the other 50% it won't unless you launch the Task Manager, then it works fine.

Anyone else found this and overcome it?

I've had the same issue's as well, however windows made a massive change to windows defender and can cause havoc on some software, I would try excluding all the AB software from the windows defender scan and check windows system event logs as well. I also had problems with Indusoft Web Studio as my project would stop pushing data to my MSSQL database. After hours of tech support, google searches, I found each time windows defender has an entry in events my database was not receiving new trend data. When you exclude software you can just use the top directory folder and all subfolders are excluded as well. example: "C:\Program Files\Rockwell Automation"
