Factorytalk se Data base definition

Hi

i have created a new data base under connections tab. it shows up as available data bases in the advanced tab.as far as i can tell it is done correctly.

but when i go to RSlinxs enterprise properties \alarms and events tab
enable alarms and event checked,enable history checked
but nothing appears in the Database definition dropdown
