FactoryTalk View v11 (ME) ActiveX Checkbox

Has anyone had luck using a checkbox control (specifically Microsoft Forms 2.0 Checkbox) on a graphic? I assigned a tag to the "Value" property which is supposed to be a R/W connection, but it will only write the value to the PLC, not read the value.
