Just wanted to leave a note on this thread because i went through the same problem with v11.
Im running a win 10 machine and i updated from v11 to v12 of factorytalk view studio and have not had this issue since.
V12 looks cleaner and runs smoother on win 10 in my opinion. Hope this helps.
