Flex IO 1794-IE8 problem

Hi,

I am back again, still with the issue of getting the 1794-IE8 configured and getting the reading from 1794-IE8. I am using SLC 5/04 series C, as far as I understand, we need to configure the 1794-IE8 by writing to M0 file, then read M1 file to get its status but nothing about getting the input from 1794-IE8. However, I am now stuck at using BTW and BTR, since I am getting error bit and not done bit so far. I am using standard-32 addressing mode, 1794-IE8 module is on Rack #1, Group 0&1. So, I use BTW & BTR as shown below :

Rack - 1
Group - 0
Slot - 0
Control Block - N251:0
Data File - N250:10
Buffer File - M0:1.100
Requested Word Count - 1

N250:10 is the configuration for IE8, which is 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

[BTR]
Rack - 1
Group - 0
Slot - 0
Control Block - N251:10
Data File - N250:0
Buffer File - M0:1.200
Requested Word Count - 9

Where I get error bit N251:12/12 = 1 at all time. And I assume that the input would be M1:1.110, am I correct? But, as long as the BTR is on error, I will not get the desired input from 1794-IE8.

I have been reading manuals and searching in the forum, this is actually based on an example posted by Ken Roach. While the others were making use of COP instead of BTR and BTW.
I am desperately needing help over here, any help and advice are much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have another doubt, I am wondering why AB is advising my main con to use two units of 1747-BSN modules which are reading the same 1794-ASB adapter. On top of that, there is another redundant SLC with another 2 units of 1747-BSN modules reading the same 1794-ASB too. Anyone enlighten me, please? Thank you very much..

Both of the problems were originated from the fact that there is TWO units of BSN used. I removed one of the BSN and re-configured the dip switch and the IO config in RSLogix500, I got the reading under N250:0. Again I got the andwer only after posting in this forum, thanks anyway.
