FT View issue

I got a .apa file for a PanelView Plus 1000 HMI. When I tried to import into FT View Studio Release Number 5.10.00 (CPR 9 SR 2), Patch/Pack Number 0, Build Number 09 using the application manager, I get the message that the file is not a valid archive file. Could that be a version mismatch or is it more likely that the .apa file is corrupt?

Probably a version mismatch. Unfortunately they don't provide an easy way to identify the version of the .APA file.

One of our forum members (dmroeder) had created a tool to help identify the .apa rev. I'll search.....

Thanks for that link OG and thanks also to Dustin for the tool. It verified the version of the .acd file I got for the PLC on this project but failed on the .apa file. I think I'll ask the client to send it again.
