All I know about craps is that together with Black Jack if you know how to play, you have only .5% disadvantage vs the house.
I have seen a guy on TV who could control the roll of the dice and he at one point was able to roll the dice for 45 min. before he crapped out. Now that guy actually holds an edge vs the house. Similarly if you can count cards ,Hi / Low being the best known and used system, you can also hold an advantage over the dealer in Black Jack. I can count but not fast enough, need a lot more practice. Apparently you need to be able to count the deck in 20 secs, I can only do it in 58 secs. I have an MIT team's CD where I can see that it can be done.
Playing craps and Black Jack really well means that you will lose at much slower rate. I think that they said that it took the guy
5 years of practice before he could control the roll of the dice.
So if you have to gamble then try these two games but prepare yourself well.
