I have a Heindenhain Eencoder ERN 480 1024 IMPULSE.
The ECO servo drive fault number is F249 =" Check encoder and encoder cable"
Using my fluke meter I checked for cable continuity from one end to the other.
The cable have 8 wires.
How Can I test this encoder?
I'm also looking for a cable and encoder data sheet.
I searched on the net. But is not clear to me the 1Vpp 1024
Is there a direct replacement encoder that I can buy at McMaster catalog that I can use without without having to mess with the ECO servo drive?.
I thank you in advance for your help and education.
