How you deal with many View Studio Version?

Just downloaded View Studio 8.20 this morning and so far it's perfect! I can open everything i want.
The only one i cannot open is one with a password protected i guess by mistake when i made the program i setted it like that, and now that i dont have the original file and it wont lets me retore them i wonder how i will get them.
I guess the only way i get restore it is to reinstall a other View Studio on my laptop and make a backup in .APA and transfer it to my new one in VMware.
