Ignition and BACNet Driver

Anyone have success using Ignition 8 and the BACNet driver? We are going to try and read data out of our Carrier Chiller. Carrier tech is installing the "Translator" on the Chiller and it uses BACNet over Ethernet IP. I was going to buy a Prosoft Gateway that does BACNet to Logix5000 but if I can read it directly from Ignition then why have yet another box out there.
