Kiran,
I think learning from Websites is not a very good Idea.Its good for Introduction but I guess it lacks the depth of a particular topic.
What kinda applications you planning to get into ? Industrial/Business/Web ??
I guess you are interested in Industrial Applications as you are a member of PLCs.net
Microsoft Press has a very good book (oops i forgot the name
) something like Visual Basic for Industrial Automation. I will try to find out ISBN for you.Also i came across this one "Creating Human Machine Interfaces Using Visual Basic"(
www.industrialvb.com) price:$100 !! Damn !! Books are very very costly in USA
You can get same book in India for less than 10% of the US price .They are reprinted in India and called LPE (Low Price Edition) so good books are always on my shopping list in my India Trip.
I wish i can bring a container full of books from India and sell them on eBay/Half.com Shortcut to become a Millionaire lol
Anyways too Off the Topic !!
Nowdays I am developing a Fully object oriented control system using C++ and came across some nice books like...

3) Thinking in C++

4) Modern C++ Design

5) The C++ Programming Language
Author: Bjarne Stroustrup LPE available in India
Note: This book has A-Z of C++ but i hate the way this guy writes
He makes simple stuff more complex.He should learn how to write a book from E. Balgurusamy
Hope this will help ??
