MICROLOGIX 1400 Programming

Hello,

I have RSLogix 500 software Version 11.00.00. I am trying to program a new Micrologix 1400 Series C (1766-L32AWA). When I open a new project file and go to find my specific processor, I cannot find it. In the product details it explains that I need RSLogix 500 Version 8.1 or higher, which I believe I do.

What could I be missing?

There are different editions as well as different versions.

You might have the edition that only works for MLX 1000 and 1100.

You were correct in pointing me that direction. I just used the drop down item Series B and it downloaded to the controller just fine.
