MSG in Logix5000

Hi guys

I got a Compactlogix5332E, and I am going to use MSG to send a data, the problem I have now is when I push the configuration button of MSG, the configuration dialog did not come out, the error message is invalid type. What this means?

You have to assign a tag to it first.
