Is there a way in syswin to see if any bit in a word is on?

I am doing alarms. I have about 12 alarms on one word. (200.00-200.11)

is there a function that encompasses the word so I can see if any single bit is on and use a single instruction?

Geez that is old! Forgotten about it and not even on my computer for perhaps the last 10 years!
