Panelview Plus 7 / communication

I have a CompactLogix 5069-L320ER (has 2 comm ports)
I have a Panelview Plus 7,


Do I have to install a Ethernet switch?
Can I connect directly between 1 port on my PLC and the screen?

And if so, HOW do I communicate/ download to the screen???

Yes, you can plug it directly in.

If your L320ER is configured for Dual IP mode (each port has its own unique IP address), you can download to it via the other port by bridging/routing.

If it is not in dual IP mode, then simply plug your computer into the 2nd port and download.
