Im a new guy to PLCs. I need to change the scaling of a device 4-20 output I see that the integrators are using sub blocks and Multiplir blocks to get an out put scaled for our Citect HMI. the raw signal is brought in to a multi block and multiplied by a factor of 4095 (range of the scale/4095 x 1000000....10ft =2442)I want to change it to 5ft. Simple right? change the multiplier to 1221? I must be doing something wrong. I am online with the PLC when I make the change but the output (display in citect doesnt change) Maybe I need to save the change or something? HELP!
