PV600 2711 B6C5 i can upload but not download

it uploads to pc fine but cut off on downloads,
using 1747 uic usb, straight through serial cable to PV....

cut off? Is there an error message on the PV or your computer screen?

Are you modifying the uploaded program, making some edits then downloading?
Or trying to download a completely different program?

thanks! I just solved the problem: aparently when you download you must choose it via rslinx (pull down menu) locate the PV icon and click on it to choose it. otherwise, if you do not, the download never establishes communication and cuts off on the first step of the process.

Yup, I always make sure its talking first.
