Question on HMI Software compatibility

Hi Good Friends!

1. Please I need a clarification to confirm if a software like Wonderware Indusoft, GT Graphics3, FactoryTalk view etc could be used to Design HMI for any HMI panel from ANY manufacturer? Are they interchangable? OR must one use say, FactoryTalk for Panel? Can't I use say, wonderware for a project where panel view is to be used?

2. Does Mitsubishi have Trial/Educational version for GT Graphics3 and GX Works3

I have not seen HMI development s/w intended for the non-PC HMIs possess the ability to cross-over to other manufacturers.

Sorry, I can't speak for every HMI/SCADA package that runs on a PC, you'll have to check with the manufacturer of the s/w in question.
