I just got this PM.
Edit: The PM was timestamped earlier than the post in the public area.

Dear Steve,

I am working on Yokogawa Stardom FCN using Logic Designer software. How to configure my PLC to retain/hold last value when my PLC during power outage ? because after power outage the parameters value such as P, I and D parameters always resetted to default value and we must type it one by one again via HMI

note : my Stardom connected to Proface touchpanel HMI GP4000

need your advice

Thanks
Bagas

I know nothing about that brand of PLC. but I can think of a couple of reasons.
1. There may be a "first scan" bit triggering loading of default values.
2. The PLC may have data in non-volatile memory that gets loaded on power up. That may be true only if there is no program in RAM memory. If your battery has failed you lose RAM memory while powered off.
3. Some PLCs define certain areas of memory as retentive and others non-retentive.
